The Bedhead Swim Bucket Hat is a UPF50+ kids sun hat with our unique 'anti-flop' brim that won't flop in front of children's eyes (even when wet!)
Our swim hats are made of high quality chlorine resistant stretch nylon knit - perfect for the pool! Swim hats are best for use in a wet environment - at the beach, lake, swimming pool or splashing about under the hose! If you are looking for a hat for everyday use - we always encourage using our Cotton hats instead (all our hats excluding our range of Swim Hats). A cotton rich hat will be much cooler for everyday use.
This watercolour stripe is how we imagine a navy canvas sail would weather by the seaside after the salt and sea work their magic over time… Match it with our Marine or Slate rash vests to complete the look. Available in Legionnaire, Classic Bucket, Ladies Swim Visor and Wet Bag.

NOTE: Chin strap can easily be removed if required without compromising the quality of the hat, you just need scissors!
SIZE ADVICE & BRIM DEPTH
One fact you can be sure of - no two heads are the same! ALWAYS measure your child's head before purchasing to ensure getting the accurate size.
Step 1: Distract the child with a toy or food (so they don't try and help you!).
Step 2: Use a measuring tape to take measurement. Otherwise use a ribbon to take the size then use a ruler to find the measurement.
Step 3: Purchase the size closest to your childs measurement. Our hats are very stretchy and will grow up to 4cm.
FOR EXAMPLE: The child measures 41cms, you will need the 42cm size that will stretch another 4cms up to 46cms - giving plenty of future wear. Purchasing the next size up would be too large and block the childs vision.

Returns & Refunds Policy
At Angelfish Dragonfly, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Our returns policy is outlined below and does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Change of Mind
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- Unused, unworn and in original condition
- Returned with original tags attached
- In original packaging where applicable
- Suitable for resale
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Change-of-mind return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Original postage costs are not refundable.
Sale items may be returned for change of mind unless clearly marked Final Sale or No Change-of-Mind Returns at the time of purchase.
Exchanges
We accept exchanges for change-of-mind purchases, subject to availability and the conditions above. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility and any price difference will be adjusted accordingly.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, defective, does not match its description, or we have sent you the wrong item, please contact us.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of our change-of-mind policy, including to sale items. We will provide the appropriate remedy where required, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.
For faulty or incorrect items covered by the ACL, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our 30-day change-of-mind policy does not affect these legal rights.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
For change-of-mind returns, original postage is not refundable.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
